NAB Day #3

More of a farewell day really as the show finishes tomorrow at 2:00 pm by which time I'll be heading further afield.

Expect to see stock of K-tek booms in store soon. I have looked around for an alternative since Sound Techniques lost its representation of Panamic booms . We have sold several Ambient booms but we've also been asked about K-tek and due to a chance meeting today I have decided to bring a representative sample into the country.

I wandered though the halls where cameras and post production were represented and my weariness/wariness was interrupted by sight of the Canon EOS 5D-II camera. I'd talked to a DOP in New Zealand who'd shot part of a TVC on one and heard that "Slumdog Millionaire" or parts of were shot on on too. To match the HD pictures Beachtek has released the DXA-5D adapter for audio interfacing.
